Air Conditioning E-commerce Retailer — UK & EU, Multi-Brand
A UK air-conditioning retailer built and launched as a market test: a fully functioning multi-brand storefront carrying split, multi-split, portable, window and cassette systems, with flat-rate European delivery, BTU sizing calculators, an AC advisory tool and a substantial indexed estate of product, brand and category pages.
The test worked. The store converted consumer and trade buyers with no paid acquisition at all — weekly trade and consumer enquiries land organically, and in the stocked season the catalogue carried order value above £30,000 in a single month at an average order of roughly £740. The largest product base in the storefront, split and multi-split systems across 68 brands, is the fastest-growing part of the catalogue and now sells autonomously through organic search alone.
What it has never had is a plugged-in supply chain. Orders were served opportunistically through ad-hoc supplier and drop-ship routes, and when stock ran dry the affected orders were refunded in full — which is why a large share of 2026 revenue came back to customers as refunds, disclosed in full in the data room. The demand is proven and repeatable; the supply relationship is simply unbuilt. That gap, not the traffic, is the buyer's upside: a contracted supply chain or a held-stock position converts an already-working enquiry stream into retained revenue.
